Cat Haven's new ambassador, Mogwai is not into Speed Dating . However, there is nothing more he would like than for some of his mates to find a new home.

They are sprucing up for the big day. So why not check each other out, you may find your match from Haven. Cat Haven, that is.

On Saturday, February 15, a selection of these delightful little moggies will be available at all Pet Barn stores in Western Australia, between 11.00am and 3.00pm.

Cat Haven never says 'no'

Cat Haven has been rescuing cats and kittens from the dangers of the streets since its beginnings in 1961, never saying 'no' to a homeless cat or kitten. However, with so many to care for, new homes are desperately needed .

No excuse

In this busy world, it can be hard to find the time to meet that perfect someone.

Finding the right colour, age, type, size, personality and background is not easy.

Well now, there is no excuse.

By working with Pet Barn Stores to provide a location near you, Cat Haven is making it easier to check out their cats and kittens available for adoption.

All 'dates' are checked and match ready

All cats and kittens are sterilised, microchipped and vaccinated. Why? Because responsible pet ownership starts the moment you decide to adopt your new furry match from Haven.

Your new match must be transported home in a secure cat carrier. If you do not have one, you can purchase one from the Cat Haven or Pet Barn. Unfortunately, they cannot make any exceptions. Would you have it any other way?

With so many to choose from, I dare you to resist a cuddle and go home with an empty cat carrier.

How many cats can you fit in a room?

Sadly, there many more cats needing loving homes than Speed Dating can handle. Cat Haven's website features photos and full descriptions of all their residents. Some lucky enough to be in foster homes awaiting your call.

Even if they are gone when you call, you will find many more needing homes.


Bella enjoys a good snuggle once she knows you. She loves following you around the garden and never strays far from the house. Bella requires plenty of love and care as she has special needs.


Jingles likes the indoors with no dogs or young children. She will blend in very well with a suitable family.


Marley has had a hard life and wants a home where she can relax and enjoy regular meals.

What about a pre date cuddle?

Still looking for a match but Speed Dating is not your thing. Check out many of the cats and kittens available for adoption (or even fostering) on Cat Haven's website or give them a call on (08) 9442 3600.

Then pop down to 23 Lemnos St, Shenton Park, for a cuddle (don't forget your cat carrier).

Adoptions: Weekdays: 11.30am to 6:30pm. W/ends and p/holidays: 11am to 4pm.
