There are many avenues where you can get a pet and some are a far better option than others. There are currently many animal shelters that are run as non-profit organisations around Perth.

If you have ever thought about having a pet and in particular, a cat or a cute kitten, now is the time and place to adopt one of these. Cats just love to have a place to call home, rather than being cooped up in a shelter all day. They come in all shapes and colours and you have the choice which one you like best.



Perth Rescue Angels is one such non-profit organisation and is an animal rescue charity that works hard at changing the lives of homeless, neglected, given away, and abused animals. They do this through both foster care and adoption. Perhaps you do not want a permanent cat but could help out by fostering one of these unfortunate animals who, for whatever reason, have ended up in this shelter.



They are having an adoption day and the volunteers from Perth Rescue Angels will be at Better Pets & Gardens in Wangara, on Saturday 21st October 2018 from 10.00 am until 2.00 pm.

Here there will be lots of the cutest and most forlorn lot of both cats and kittens. You will be able to touch, play with and look into the big pleading eyes of these helpless animals, who are just wanting love and a forever home! You will be able to play with them and fall in love!

Make sure when you come to this event that you bring a cat carrier, as there will surely be at least one of these sweet characters that you will be attracted to and they will all be looking for their forever homes with someone who can adore them.

If you do find the ideal cat for you (and with so many there, why would you not!), you can take your new fur baby home straight away on the day - they are all checked out, healthy and waiting for you!



Also at this event will be the new Entertainment Book for 2018-2019 which will be for sale. These give you heaps of bargains on many places around Perth and indeed around Western Australia. All the proceeds from these sales will go back to helping save more animal's lives for this shelter. They also have some great merchandise for sale.

It will be held at Better Pets & Gardens, 46 Prindiville Drive, Wangara.

If you foster a cat or dog from this organisation, it simply means that they have a home, rather than a shelter, to live in while they are on the internet and someone looks at them and falls in love! Although they currently have a team of foster carers, they are always on the lookout for more people with big hearts!



Perth Rescue Angels specialises in rehabilitating undomesticated cats. Many people see these cats as a nuisance/pest, however, at Perth Rescue Angels they believe that each and every dog, cat or kitten deserves to live a happy life with a family or person who will look after them and have their interests at heart.
