Crime novelist Richard Castle (Nathan Fillion) is back in the second series of the TV show
Castle.
We pick up a few months after the first series ended - Kate Beckett (Stana Katic) is still mad at Castle for looking into her mother's death against his wishes. Problem is Castle's first book based on Beckett is due to be released soon so Beckett still has to play nice for reporters asking about the book - and the relationship between Beckett and Castle.
But as much as Beckett has tried to leave her mother's murder behind, she is forced to face it head-on when a murder comes through with the same signatures as her mother's death - in other words, the same killer. She manages to track him down but is forced to kill him before she can find out who ordered her death or why.
Through this season we start the see the sexual tension building between Castle and Beckett - but both of them refuse to acknowledge it or say anything about it to the other.
Full of the same whit and quirkiness of the first season, the second season of
Castle will keep you entertained from start to finish.
