Today I visited Cash Converters in Frankston and I'm incredibly glad I did. If you are a secondhand junkie and love checking out pawn shops - then this place will be paradise. There is lots of stuff you can find at Cash Converters including video games, consoles, mobile phones, laptops, guitars, bikes, board games, electrical items, and jewellery.
My favourite section is the video game and DVDs because they have priced their DVDs so cheap - you can pick some up as little as fifty cents each. They also run special deals every now and then, like buy five get 1 free or three DVDs for $5.
The video games are great to flick through. They have games for the PlayStation, Wii, Nintendo, PSP, and even older consoles like the NES and Atari. If you want old school video games, Cash Converters is the perfect place to find them.
Last year, I purchased a bike from Cash Converters which only cost $100 for a good branded sturdy bike for my younger brother's birthday. They have a whole stack of bikes and is probably a better idea to shop here first before going to buy brand new.
Other great things I noticed at this Cash Converters was $1 One Direction items, board games you normally don't see in the shops, and lots of clearance electrical goods like cooking appliances, lamps, hair straighteners, etc. They seemed to be putting low prices on a lot of items because of how overstocked they were, which is great for the buyer.
Overall, I found Cash Converters in Frankston to be a great secondhand shop that wasn't overpriced. The staff were really nice and even helped to look through the DVD stands for a particular movie. I would definitely shop here again and recommend it to anyone who loves a good secondhand shop.
