Featuring two big water slides, two shallow pools, an exercise warm water pool and lap pool, this centre has a large variety for the whole family to enjoy a swim.
Let's start with the water slides. There is a large orange one that throws you around and around until you finally plummet into the water, This slide is much loved by my siblings who are in their teens. It's so funny to watch them spin around on the slide then dunk into the water.
The other slide is a long dark slide which you go down either in pairs or alone, you sit on a floating device and then end up in a shallow pool of water. It's a lot of fun, but it is dark in the long tunnel so only recommended for kids who can handle it.
The play pools are great fun because there is a large bucket that fills up and then an alarm will sound and it will pour out over you if you stand under it. My siblings enjoy getting drenched and find it funny watching others getting drenched too.
The lap pools are great for those who want to compete or practice their techniques. My niece likes doing this and racing her cousins!
The warm water exercise pool is great for doing light exercises and for those who want to enjoy the water away from loud splashing swimmers. It is a nice temperature too
The spa and sauna areas are great too and I love coming in winter and when my sinuses are blocked. Its a nice place to catch up with friends or with your partner too.
On the school holidays, the Casey Race often has family fun days and brings out the large inflatable obstacle course for the kid to try out. They also offer a birthday party package which is a lot of fun to attend.
At Casey, you will also find a cafe which serves healthy and non-healthy food for reasonable prices. Their selections of ice creams and to die for and they also have a large grass area outside for families to picnic at.
Overall, I would recommend this swimming pool to families with young kids, teens, or people who love swimming in general.
There is a multitude of parking available which makes it handy too.
