About The Old Cheese Factory
The Old Cheese Factory is managed and operated by the City of Casey. It was originally part of the historic Springfield Estate, and now the Old Cheese Factory allows visitors to step back in time and look over the historic buildings.

Included in these buildings is the Homestead Cafe, which has delightfully landscaped gardens, a large children's playground, and barbecue and picnic facilities.

The majestic Old Cheese Factory is the historic 1860's Springfield Homestead. The Cheese Factory and Kitchen Wash House stand as a large reminder of Australia's early history.

The site is available to hire for several things including children's birthday parties, wedding ceremonies and receptions, meetings, conferences and training sessions,; gallery exhibitions, community group meetings and activities.
