Casbah is one of the many restaurants intertwined with the Big Burrito Group - and it's one of my favorite restaurants for the food, the service and the ambiance.

As soon as you walk in to the restaurant you will experience all that is Casbah, with it's amber lighting and tile and glassworks. It's more of a sophisticated restaurant than something like Cheesecake Factory or Primanti Brothers, but not to the point of Le Mont or The Tin Angel (Mt Washington).

Expect to spend about $25 to $35 for your entrees, not including appetizers, drinks or desserts. If you go there be sure to check out the lamb chops or loliipops as some people call them. Casbah uses only fresh ingredients either imported or from the Strip District.

The lamb is Elysian Fields lamb which is one of the best types of lamb you can get at any restaurant - superb flavor without a lot of gaminess. Not only is the lamb prepared correctly and tastes divine, but other meat entrees and fish entrees are superb as well. The fresh tasting seafood should be no surprise considering they get most of their fish and shellfish from Wholey's.

As with most of the Big Burrito Group restaurants (not including Mad Mex) cleanliness is godliness with Casbah. You can always expect to see clean linens, clean floors in the dining room, entry way and the bathrooms.
