Newbie to Sydney, ex-PR consultant, I enjoy my music a good cup of coffee a sunny day and love my books.

Pizza cravings can attack anytime and if you are looking for something other than the regular Pizza Huts and Dominoes, Casa Bella on Concord road is a good place to visit. Casa Bella serves up authentic Italian fare such as the traditional and gourmet pizzas along with pastas and also set menus to choose from.

The menu is extensive to start with like the bruschettas, garlic bread, prawns, squid, pizza crusts to choose from in the appetisers and entrees.

Moving onto the traditional fare pizzas, you won't be surprised as most of the regulars such as ham and pineapple along margaritas, BBQ meat delight and many more to choose from. The gourmet pizzas have a fancier fare with the lamb, chicken, salami and prosciutto pizzas on offer. Casa Bella offers all the standard sizes and if you are still confused, there are pizza pans in all the said sizes hung up to help make your decision.

If pizzas are not your fare, fret not, for there are pastas, risottos, lasagna and Italian meat balls to choose from, and for the more health conscious, there are salad options.

We ordered bruschettas and vegetarian pizza, both of which we enjoyed but somehow we thought the portions for the bruschettas could have been better.

Service was good and the food was a welcome change from the regular Italian dining options, however I would like to try the non-vegetarian pizzas on my next visit. Desserts were also left for another visit as we were full to the brim. There are Italian gelatos as well as tiramisu to satisfy your sweet tooth.

The décor is warm and cosy and it is recommended that you make reservations if you are going in large groups. The place does get busy with home deliveries, dine ins and also customers for take-away.
