If you have ever wanted to make your own cartoon Christmas cards, then look no further than a Cartoon Christmas Card Workshop by the talented comic artists Phil Judd.

www.comic-express.com
Phil Judd will be holding a Cartoon Christmas Card workshop these school holidays especially centred around kids from ages 7-14 years old. You will be able to make your own Christmas cards as well as learning the art of cartooning from one of the best. For just $20, all materials, learning and making activities will be provided for a whole two hours. But please note that spaces are limited, so to learn how to do it yourself, phone 3366 9706 or 0431 015 873 to book.

Mr. and Mrs. Judd both run Comic Express, a cartoon company that does a range of cartoons for some big players, such as BHP Billiton, Queensland Education School of the Air, Reader's Digest, and even Channel Seven's Great South East, to name a few. First started in 1981, Mr. Judd first started off in television before moving on to painting, drawing and the like. He now works with several other artists and publishes daily cartoon strips, series and recreational work for his company Comic Express. Mrs. Judd first started off as a music teacher and also worked in television and on stage before meeting Phil Judd. She now works alongside him composing music and other compositions for Comic Express animations.

Of course, their passion is to teach others to do the same, hence Mr. Judd runs several workshops, both public and private, for children, teenagers and even adults. So if you don't consider fit into the 'kid category', you can still learn the basics of creating your own cartoon. Public sessions are held at various libraries, the YMCA and Wesley Mission Brisbane. If you would like to attend a workshop, please see the website or contact Mr. Judd. All workshops teach the basics of drawing using professional equipment and presents attendees with the opportunity to create a professional cartoon.
