Diamonds are a girl's best friend and some of Princess Grace's most spectacular diamonds can currently be admired in a breathtaking display of some of the world's most exquisite jewels at Cartier: the Exhibition, on show until 22 July 2018 at the National Gallery of Australia in Canberra.
The exhibition has several pieces from the Princess's stunning jewellery collection. These also mark important milestones in her life such as the 10.48-carat diamond engagement ring of Grace Kelly's 1956 engagement with Prince Rainier III of Monaco, as well as several of her tiaras, necklaces, brooches and earrings.
Visitors can gain a unique insight into her Princess Grace's life as a royal, a movie star, bride and, of course, a fashion icon.

These are also the most significant pieces of jewellery to be seen in Australian since the 'Grace Kelly: Style Icon' exhibition was shown at Bendigo Art Gallery in 2012.
Cartier: The Exhibition as a whole showcases more than 300 spectacular items, with loans from royal families, celebrities and the incredible Cartier Collection itself. Never before have so many incredible diamonds, pearls, sapphires, emeralds and other precious stones been seen in Australia.
Highlights include the Queen's 'Halo' tiara worn by Kate Middleton at her wedding to Prince William, Elizabeth Taylor's diamond and ruby necklace, and Dame Nellie Melba's diamond stomacher brooch.
So here is your chance to step into the dazzling world of the Maison Cartier and its clients to discover concepts of glamour throughout the 20th century, accompanied by a rich and stimulating program of talks, tours and events.
Cartier: The Exhibition is on show at the NGA, exclusive to Canberra.
The event is on show until 22 July 2018 at the National Gallery of Australia, Canberra.
