If you like your secondhand shopping and are based in the South East of Melbourne you need to make a date to stop at the massive Carrum Downs Savers Store. The Carrum Downs is one of eight stores in Victoria run by this recycle superstore, the others are also well worth a trip.
It is huge! You may find it a little overwhelming the first time you go but I've heard people travel interstate just to visit these stores especially when they are running sales.

Savers run some of the biggest secondhand shops in Victoria
Packed full of almost everything and anything you can imagine this spacious and well-presented store is a thrifters paradise.
It has bric-a-brac on the left as you enter followed by an extensive book section. It then moves into linen, furniture and some electricals.

Clothing at Savers is organised by size and age in the children's area
If you have children their needs are also well catered for with a great selection of toys, clothing and a dedicated book aisle.

Savers has an amazing selection of secondhand fashion
The clothing though! Oh boy, the clothing options for menswear and womenswear are astounding.
You'll find clothing and shoes sorted in size.
The store needs a good hour or two to do it justice.
You can find it open seven days a week at 576 - 578 Frankston - Dandenong Road, Carrum Downs VIC.

Savers has great parking and an easy drop and donate option
It even has some late-night shopping hours on Thursdays and Fridays.
Make sure you also follow their socials on Facebook
here or Instagram
here to find out about their regular sales. Sometimes their clothing sales are 50% off!
They accept donations on behalf of their charitable partners but they are a for-profit business. You can read about them and their other stores on their website
here.

Savers has a great bric-a-brac selection too!
