Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II visited
Carrick Hill on the 9th March 1986 to officially open the estate to the public. The Friends of Carrick Hill are celebrating this event with a celebration Morning Tea. This will be held in the house marquee on Wednesday 9th March 2016, exactly 30 years later to the day.
A special highlight will be Christiana Moore from Studio Hats. She will present a display of hats from both the past and the present that reflects the Queen's love of all things millinery.
State Librarian Alan Smith will be the guest speaker. 'The Books in My Life' will be a fascinating insight into the books a librarian reads.
Enter the raffle, with a chance to win a stay in a beach-side holiday house and other great prizes. If you own a corgi, they might like to join in the celebrations!
