It can be hard to find a good place to eat brunch or lunch on a Sunday that has something for everyone; somewhere to sit outside if the weather is good but with the option of indoor seating. Somewhere with good food options both for breakfast and lunch. Somewhere the kids can run around.

Carre Noir is a restaurant that has the feel of a cafe. It is located in the Chatswood Concourse opposite the library and the new Civic Pavillion so it's great for all occasions.

They have indoor and outdoor seating and because it is located in the concourse it looks onto the grassed area which can be great for kids or if you wanted to take your coffee out there to drink.

The menu selection is great.

Vanilla milkshake

BBQ pulled pork sandwich

If you are taking the car be warned that parking in Chatswood is always a problem but there are a few parking stations nearby which offer two hours free parking nearby.
