Witness half a kilometre of Christmas lights
On Friday, 7th December, join the local community at the lighting of the Christmas Tree at the Rectory, in Raymond Terrace. The event starts at 6pm with candles being handed out, local schools performing, a jumping castle, local church choirs and of course Santa Claus with MarkeeP - MarketPlace's own fun dog. The cafe will also be open in the evening.

All children at the event will receive a ticket for their chance to be the lucky person who flicks the switch to illuminate the half a kilometre of lights adorning the largest Christmas tree in the Southern Hemisphere. See the Raymond Terrace Bowling Club Facebook for details.
