This year's Woolworths Carols in the Domain will be on Sunday 17th December. The festivities will start from 12pm, with the carols starting at 7:45pm.
Guests are encouraged to bring a rug and a picnic (strictly no glass) and don't forget a hat and sunscreen. There will be food trucks and stalls available, should you prefer to have less stuff to carry.
The Woolworths Carols in the Domain has been running for the past 35 years and is always a fun and festive night out, especially for little kids. Pre-show entertainment will begin from 3pm.
If you'd like to be close to the action, then you can purchase VIP tickets which include allocated seats in-front of the stage, gourmet hampers and candles. VIP Tickets range from $53 - D Reserve up to $132 - A Reserve, per person seat only. Children under 2 years of age are free (if sitting on parents lap).
Picnic hampers are additional and include prosciutto, salami, wholemeal rolls, olives, hommus, brie, cheddar, quince paste, char-grilled vegetables, bocconcini, dried fruit, lavish crispbread and chocolate-dipped strawberries - $52 for two people (gourmet snack pack).
Vegetarians options are available and includ; char-grilled vegetables, mozzarella, kale and candied walnut salad, field mushrooms, chick-pea couscous, sourdough rolls, brie, grapes, lavosh crispbread and chocolate tart with raspberries - $72 for two people (ultimate gourmet hamper). A non-vegetarian Ultimate Gourmet Hamper is also available for the same price.
VIP tickets and hampers must be booked online here and hampers can be collected from 5:30pm to 7:30pm on the day.
Candle packages start from $10 for a set of four and all proceeds go towards the Salvation Army, to help families in need at Christmas time. There is also candle bags available for $20 which include four candles and other goodies.

With musicals, Jersey Boys and The Wizard of Oz starring Anthony Warlow, opening soon at the Capitol Theatre; you can get a sneak-peak of the talent, as the stars belt out Christmas Carols, traditional and modern.
Country music stars Beccy Cole and Adam Harvey have produced eighteen albums between them and won multiple awards. Having also toured together, performing at the Carols was a natural progression in their career.
Successful Australian boy-band, CDB have supported the likes of Boyz II Men and Tina Arena. Off the back of their new album, Tailored for Now, they'll add their R 'n' B twist to Christmas Carols.
Dami Im won X-Factor in 2013 and represented Australia at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2016 to much appraise. Dami is now a regular star at Woolworths Carols in the Domain.
Tod McKenney has appeared in a multitude of hit musicals including; The Boy From Oz, 42nd Street and Annie. His dancing and singing always steals the show at carols in the domain.
If you arrive early to nab a spot, you could take your kids to the David Jones Christmas window displays to fill in time and entertain them, for free.
Woolworths Carols in the Domain is a well organised, family-friendly event, that kids will treasure, as they create memories of singing Christmas carols, under the stars.

Flat-rate parking is available at the Domain car park for $35 inc booking fee. However, both Wilson and Care Park operate numerous car parking stations around the CBD, with different pricing for each, including flat-rate weekend rates.
Alcohol is permitted, however as it's a family-orientated event, only in small quantities and no glass bottles are allowed. Police and security will be patrolling to ensure a safe event for all.
The carols will also be broadcast live on Smooth FM and channel 7.
