Bondi's annual Carols by the Sea will take place this year on Wednesday December 11 and will be held at Bondi Park. As usual, it's a family-oriented event and costs nothing to attend. All you need to bring is something to sit on.

The night will begin at 5.30pm with a series of youth performances until 6.50pm, including bands from local schools. After a short interval, the Mayor of Waverley Council , Sally Betts, will give her welcome at 7.00pm.

For the rest of the evening it will be the carols we all know and love till 8.30pm. These will include communal carols and songs performed by The Acappella Central Singers, directed by Gary Smith. Bondi Brass, led by Paul Goodchild, and local choir Bondi Sings will also perform throughout the night.


Christmas glo-sticks will be on sale for the kids and there will also be a sausage sizzle, with all proceeds raised going towards local charities. You can make donations of cash and non-perishable food items to Norman Andrews House at the event.
