Event:
See the light
Carols by Candlelight is an event that truly epitomises the spirit of Christmas by bringing thousands of families together to make music and celebrate the joy of Christmas.

Forget the mad rush of shopping and come to enjoy a brilliant selection of performers entertaining you at Elder Park. Highlights include Jon Stevens And Amber Joy Poulton, The Ruby's recreating the look and sound of the girl group pop phenomenon, young Adelaide band 50 in the City, Humphrey B Bear, the Fairies, and a special appearance from Father Christmas.

The entry fee will be supporting three of Adelaide's biggest charities - the Women's and Children's Hospital Foundation, the Cora Barclay Centre and Novita Children's Services.

The event starts at 3 pm with a community concert so that even the littlest ones can take part, with iconic Humphrey B. Bear and school bands. I will be followed at 6.30 pm by the fabulous Fairies, Harmony and Rhapsody.

At 8.30 pm the main event hosted by Rosanna Mangiarelli will start, with former Noiseworks lead singer Jon Stevens taking the stage.

Finally at 10.30 pm there will be the traditional spectacular fireworks finale, bringing this concert to a brilliant close with a bang.

The event won't be televised this year, so be sure to get down to Elder Park early and find a good spot.
