Family fun & a Ferris Wheel in the heart of the city
There is a lot going on in the city centre, these school holidays. As part of the "Wintervention" movement - getting locals away from the heater and back into the city - there will be a host of school holiday activities in Garema Place and surrounds. There will be the Skating At outdoor ice skating rink, La Petite Theatre set up for circus shows and, while all this is happening, there will also be children's rides as well between 6th - 22nd July!
See the details below:
Jumping Castle - Daily 10am - 7pm
Inflatable Slide - Daily 10am - 5pm
Ferris Wheel - Daily 11.30am - 2.30pm
Fire Extravaganza Show - Saturday at 6pm
Fire Performers - Friday at 6pm

Purchase tickets for the rides at the event. This event is hosted by City Renewal Canberra and Skating At - see their Facebook event for details.
Whilst there, also check out Eat Feast for lunch or dinner. This is a winter pop-up food market that will be held at the same time, with food vendors, fire shows and live music.
