The Carina Canter Community Fun Run is a 2km and 4km event that is held at one Sunday per month at the Carindale Reserve in Brisbane. The event is organised by Thompson Estate Eastern Suburbs (TEES) Athletics, Brisbane's oldest sports club.
The goal of this event is fun and fitness. All ages are welcome and you do not need to be a club member to join in. The course is accurately measured and you will be running mostly on grass. This is a timed event and prize ribbons will be awarded to the top 3 finishers in the 4km event and top 3 finishers under 12 years old in the 2km event.
The course starts near the off-leash dog area so bring your dog along for the morning of fun. Dogs on leashes are permitted to run the course. Refreshments are available to all participants.
So if you are looking to continue your running resolution or if you want to try out a new running group, register your interest with TEES prior to the event or register by 7:45 on the day. Club Members pay $2 per entrant, Non- Members $4 (or Family fee of $10). $2 discounted price for members of QA, Little Athletics and Queensland Running.
