The National Carillon is located on Aspen Island, on the scenic Lake Burley Griffin. On Sunday, 17th December the 55 bells at the top of the tower will be playing Christmas carols between 6pm - 7.30pm. Six Carillonists will be playing the bells, with three of them among the youngest in the world. Take a picnic and listen to carols such as Jingle Bells, We Three Kings of Orient Are, The Little Drummer Boy and Silent Night.

There will also be the Canberra Harmony Chorus singing and food and drink available on site. Take the opportunity to also join a free tour of the National Carillon between 4pm - 5.45pm. See the National Capital Authority website and Facebook for details.
