A scrumptious breakfast is always on the cards for Father's Day but you don't have to sit in a crowded, stuffy and overpriced restaurant or even at your usual dinner table at home. Instead, you could be out experiencing million dollar harbour views aboard the Captain Cook ship the MV Sydney 2000.
Just imagine the grand sweeping views of the city skyline, the bobbing boats on the harbour and looking up at the grand Sydney Harbour Bridge. Options include either a Father's Day Breakfast or Buffet Lunch cruise onboard.
To add to the family savings, children are only $10 with one child at this price with every full priced adult. For breakfast, you will enjoy a hearty hot and cold buffet breakfast including seasonal fresh fruit, selection of cereals, yoghurt, bacon, eggs, grilled tomatoes, sautéed mushrooms, baked beans, chipolatas, croissants, rolls, fruit juice and tea and coffee.
The Father's Day Breakfast cruise departs from Darling Harbour King Street Wharf No.1 at 9.00am, returning at 10.30am. Adults are priced at $59 and one child under 16 years cruises for only $10, with every full priced adult normally $39 per child.
On the Father's Day Buffet Lunch cruise, Dad can feast on a delicious hot and cold buffet selection while enjoying not only the million-dollar harbour views, but live commentary pointing out the scenic highlights of the trip.
The buffet includes oysters served to the table, plus an array of international and local dishes, seafood, salad and dessert. The Father's Day Buffet Lunch cruise is $75 per adult and one child under 16 years cruises for only $10, with every full priced adult, normally $49 per child.
The cruise departs Darling Harbour King Street Wharf No.1 at 12 noon, returning at 1.45pm or from Circular Quay Wharf No.6 at 12.30pm, returning at 2.15pm.
