Captain America

Another successful installment into the Captain America franchise and indeed that of Marvel. Countless films have and are currently being produced depicting such favorites as Iron Man, The Hulk, Fantastic Four and so many others.

Captain America: The Winter Soldier, of course starring Chris Evans as Cap himself finds more drama and action in a new and extremely dangerous enemy - 'The Winter Soldier'.

Steve Rogers battles to grip the fast pace of the modern world as a new threat emerges from the recesses of his past. Teaming up with S.H.I.E.L.D and that of Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) and Natasha Romanoff (Scarlett Johansson), Rogers locks brawn with fist to save modern civilisation as we know it.

Directed by Anthony Russo and Joe Russo, featuring the star studded talents of Chris Evans, Robert Redford (Alexander Pierce), Anthony Mackie (Falcon) and of course Scarlett Johansson and Samuel L. Jackson; the second film in the Captain America franchise promises to be a must see.

Screenwriters Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely (among others) certainly drew inspiration from an otherworldly source; the narrative and plot of this film is comprehensive and brilliant - it is no wonder why they have been invited to write Captain America 3, coming in the not so distant future.

Since Marvel Studios seems to be mapping a giant puzzle of your favorite comics into film adaptations and penultimately face them off against each other in an epic movie blockbuster - Captain America: The Winter Soldier fits perfectly into the puzzle; with a sequel in the works, it is safe to say that we will be seeing more of the first Avenger.

Didn't like the movie at all. Way too predictable.
