Darwin International Film Festival, the
3rd Capricornia Film Awards will be held on
Sunday 9 May 2021 from 7pm at
Deckchair Cinema,
Jervois Rd, Darwin. Get your
tickets (Adult $35, Member $27, Concession $30) which includes dinner and a welcome drink, ceremony and access to the Awards' After Party.
Celebrating the Northern Territory's incredible filmmaking talent, the Biennial Capricornia Film Awards will announce winners at the Gala Awards Night. The awards will be handed out at a star-studded ceremony filled with surprises, emotion and huge levels of territory-ness. Having begun in 2016, the biennial awards are designed to showcase the best film, television and video productions being created in the Northern Territory or by Territorians. The awards celebrate the best of the best in a number of categories including Feature film, Short film, Series, Music Video and Commercial and Corporate. This year's nominees represent an incredible cross section of the diverse and impressive films produced in the Territory.
