Capricorn Coast Writers Festival is to be back for the fourth time and to be held from Friday, 30 May to Sunday, 1 June 2025. With a packed program for readers and writers alike, this festival will be presented by many exciting well-known, award-winning authors and industry professionals.

The adult general workshops will show writers many ways to improve their writing in all genres, and there will be specialised workshops in Romance, Crime, Writing for Children, Memoir and Historic Fiction, Author Consults, Crime Writers' Consults, a reading event for children at the Yeppoon Library, and much more.  The Student Short Story  Competition is back and open to all school students enrolled in schools within the Livingstone Shire.
