Anonymous X - the True Superheroes
As I sat on the train – costumed up with my mask on my lap (so as to not scare the passer-by) little did I know what a fab evening I had in store. Not only was the Capes n Cocktails event an explosion of bright costumes and enjoyable entertainment for all the guests -the event also promoted the fantastic work being done by Anonymous X – a worthwhile cause and charity organisation in Melbourne that provides grassroots support to those living on our Melbourne streets.

Anonymous X provides temporary assistance and relief to Melbourne's homeless and less fortunate. They collect and distribute donations varying from clothes, food and everyday essentials to people who currently live on the streets in temporary housing or in crisis accommodation.
The evening at The Eureka Hotel in North Richmond was filled with diverse entertainment, fun cocktails and tasty food. Event organisers Michelle Rofique and Nevenka Kroftas did a fabulous job of bringing together a group of over 80 guests for this charity event at The Eureka Hotel in North Richmond.

The highlight of the evening was getting to know the man behind Anonymous X and finding out a little more about the work they do and how people can support this worthy cause. Their support unlike many bigger homelessness charities is grounded in real, tangible, hands-on support to those in need.
If you have not heard of Anonymous X or would like to support a their good cause by either volunteering or making a donation, please take a moment to read more about the work Sean Thornton and his team are doing here on their blog
