If you're travelling to Bryon Bay (NSW) and are in the mood for a pleasant hike/walk, then make sure to visit the Cape Byron Lighthouse. Arrive early enough and you'll be greeted by a stunning sunrise. Below was a tasting of the view as we were on our way up Lighthouse road.
View heading up to Lighthouse Road
When we were there access to the car park right where the lighthouse was situated was still closed so we parked and walked up towards the lighthouse. As we arrived the sun was beginning to creep up and it was an absolutely breathtaking sight with pink and orange hues coloring the sky.

Cape Byron Lighthouse - almost there!
There is a lookout point which gives a great panoramic view of the expansive sea, and the track that leads to the lookout point also leads to other walks around the Byron lighthouse area.

I didn't manage to get the greatest shot of the lighthouse but pictures never truly capture the entirety of a moment anyway.
Little view of the lighthouse at Cape Byron
We did a short walk around the area, a fair bit of uphill and down hill walking but nothing overly strenuous. As long as you take your time, it's a fairly comfortable walk. We passed lots of joggers/walkers that morning so there are people about, but what was nice was that there were areas that you could walk off to more secluded sections of beaches.

So despite there being a fair number of people about, you can still explore the area without feeling like you're in a tourist spot. The picture below just shows one such spot along the walk.
Enjoying the walk around Cape Byron
Nothing like taking time out of the day to enjoy a view such as this.

Lots of spots such as the one pictured below to take in the scenery.
Perfect vantage point to take in the sights
This view below was taken on the way back to the carpark - I would highly recommend coming for sunrise - spectacular views and not too crowded if you get in early (hopefully the weather is great too). Great way to spend a morning taking a scenic stroll around Cape Byron taking in these beautiful sights!
Breathtaking!
