Sunsets in the Top End don't come any better than a topical sunset dinner cruise on Darwin Harbour.
Sail away on the 22m traditional fishing yacht Cape Adieu and enjoy a boutique experience like no other in Darwin.
Setting sail an hour before sunset, you are treated to personal service with a choice of dining options to suit all. I experienced the dinner cruise and was treated to a 4-course banquet fit for a king.
Pre-dinner homemade dips set the scene followed by a tantalising mix of Gulf of Carpentaria Banana prawns and Coffin Bay oysters. Chef Shane's signature dish of smoked Spanish mackerel with delicious hickory was presented and devoured. There was the option of Scotch Fillet steaks for the meat lovers.
All dishes were accompanied by an array of fresh and mix of salads and crusty bread rolls. A fruit platter completed the evening with coffee and an array of teas to suit every taste on offer. Drinks were on sale with BYO food and drinks options. But why not relax and experience the service brought to your table?
The Cape Adieu Dinner & Sunset Cruise operates out of
on the Darwin Harbour Waterfront. It's a 15 minute walk from the CBD or take advantage of the FREE bus shuttle along the Darwin Waterfront precinct.
The cruise runs during the Dry Season from April to October. Check the Cape Adieu website for sailings.
