Spring time is fair time here in Perth, and all around the city schools and other community groups are promoting their major annual fundraising drives. Not only are these events a great spot to pick up a bargain, but they also provide loads of affordable family fun, often quite close to home. This year the Canning Vale Primary School and Education Support Centre are celebrating their twentieth birthday, and on Sunday November 9th the P&C will be holding their fundraising fete, choc-a-block full of all sorts of fabulous fair-time favourites.



Whether you're an active young family looking out for some entertainment for the kids, or a bargain-hunter trawling for treasure, the Canning Vale Primary School fete is definitely the place to be, and this year the fete will be bigger and better than ever before with over thirty stalls. For the adults there will be plenty of old favourites such as arts, crafts, plants, books, cake-stalls, mystery jars and even a white elephant stall, while youngsters will enjoy heaps of awesome rides including a bouncy castle, dumbo ride, cup and saucer ride, human gyroscope and airbourne adventure. For those on a tight budget there are also quite a few free activities and these will include a box city, rope bridge, colouring competition and plenty of kid-friendly entertainment.

School fetes always offer plenty of good old-fashioned family fun and the Canning Vale Primary School's 20th birthday fete will certainly be no exception. Not only will it offer hours of fabulous family entertainment but the proceeds will all go back into the school community, improving the learning environment for students of both the primary school and the Learning Support Centre. The special focus this year will be to upgrade old technology.

will be held on Sunday, November 9th, from 10.00am until 3.00pm. Admission is free and rides will cost from $2,50 upwards. The fete will be held at Canning Vale Primary School, The Ramble, Canning Vale.
