[ADVERT]Want to make something a little different that looks great and doesn't take a whole lot of time? This recipe is so simple, yet looks fantastic when finished. The kid's will love them and the adults will be amazed by your creativity. Inspired by a recipe found on the Glorious Treats blog spot , this candy cane concoction will impress even the biggest Christmas grinch!

They are a little bit fiddly but well worth the effort, they truly look amazing when done.

Tip: Start with proportions for 10 candy cane hearts and take it from there. How many you make is up to your patience level!

Below are the simple instructions on how to make candy-cane hearts for Christmas.

You will need for this Recipe:

Small candy canes - red and white one work well, but you can use any colour you want.
Milk melting chocolate (or white or dark - your choice!)
Sprinkles - again. let your imagination run wild on this one. In this recipe I have a combination mixture of red, white and green sprinkles.

Step One:
Use two candy canes to make a heart shape.

Step Two:
Pour melted chocolate into the heart making sure the joins are covered. You want the two candy canes to 'stick' together.

Step Three:
Whilst the chocolate is still melted decorate with sprinkles.

It's that easy!

Enjoy.
