Take a train ride this Father's Day weekend
Are you looking for a Father's Day idea for your train-loving Dad? Or just a fun activity that the whole family will enjoy? Then why not take a steam train from Canberra to Queanbeyan (45 minutes return non-stop) or to Bungendore (2 hours and 15 minutes non-stop), with trains running on both Saturday, 1st September and Sunday, 2nd September.

The NSW Rail Museum is pleased to be partnering with the Canberra Railway Museum for this exciting event on Australia's most powerful operating steam engine, Beyer-Garratt locomotive 6029. Tickets range between $20 - $45 per person - book your tickets in early for this unique event from Canberra.
