New to Canberra, I love exploring this city and the secrets that it holds with my family.
A madcap afternoon of fun & laughter
Do you love the Amazing Race on TV? Canberra is hosting its own version on Saturday, 21st of May. Come on your own and be teamed up into a group of 3, or organise a group of friends (max. 5) and play as group together.
How does it work?
Participants pay their entry fee online and then meet at the fountain outside the Canberra Centre in the Civic at 1pm. Here you will receive your instructions and first clue. You then have 2 hours of madcap fun tracking down the clues, taking selfies to prove you were there, performing hilarious challenges and meeting new people along the way. Return to the starting point at 3:30pm to wait and chat to your new friends until the scores are tallied up. The winner is announced at 4pm with great prizes can be won!
*This event is organised by The Everyday Adventure, started by Life Coach, Sam Sutherland (pictured). After being unhappy in her job and suffering post natal depression, Sam picked herself back up and became a life coach to help others put that twinkle back in their eye and put fun back into their life. Scavenger hunts and fun events are organised all around Australia and the world, to get people off the couch and having their own unique adventures. It is now Canberra's turn to enjoy the fun.
