Take the plunge
Better known by locals as "Civic Pool" this centrally-located facility was so named because it was built in preparation for the Melbourne Olympics. It features an outside diving pool with three heights to challenge the courage of almost anyone - 1m, 3m and the daunting 5m platform.

The 50m pool is heated and inside a permanent building that looks like a massive tent. The dome-like structure is distinctive, but doesn't do anything to reduce noise levels.

There is also a toddler pool.

The parking is quite good for civic, generally sufficient for the number of customers, and well located close to the main entrance. Unsurprisingly, it is pay parking.

With such a great location, this is the perfect pool for those wanting a quiet swim in their lunch break.
