An evening of culture, food & family fun
The Canberra Nara Festival is a much-anticipated event in the Canberra community, to celebrate the Sister City relationship shared between Canberra and Nara, Japan. The festival will be held on Saturday, 27th October at Nara Peace Park and Lennox Gardens in Yarralumla, between 4pm - 9pm.

Enjoy the spectacle of 2000 shimmering candles, as well as the opportunity to enjoy traditional Japanese cuisine from the many food stalls. There will also be free entertainment, family activities, cultural performances, calligraphy, lantern making, origami, ikebana and kite flying. See the Canberra Nara Festival website for more details.
