A whole weekend of festival fun in the heart of the city
The Canberra Moon Festival will be held on the weekend of 13th - 15th September, in City Walk in the heart of the city. The Moon Festival in the lunar calendar celebrates harvest and reunion in many Asian cultures and the festival intends to present the concept of "One Community, One World, One Big Family" within the multicultural capital city.

There will be a giant moon lantern, lantern street lights, a festival atmosphere, interactive games, activities, free kids plays, street food, the biggest group lion dance ever in Canberra, Guinness World Record Holder Neal Hardy (who has a record for bare hand concrete breaking), live music and much, much more! It will be hosted by Canberra-born SBS TV Presenter Andy Trieu.

See the Canberra Moon Festival website for details and follow them on Facebook for all the latest news and exciting program updates.
