Check out the progress at their new location in Symonston
Canberra Miniature Railway, formally Kingston Miniature Railway, have been busily creating a new miniature train ride area for kids at their new property in Symonston, next to the Monaro Highway. On Sunday, 11th March, they will be having a soft opening so that the public can try out the first stage of their new track. It costs $3 per ride and if you wish to pay by credit card or EFTPOS, there is a 3 ride minimum. The rides will commence at 10:30am and finish at 2:30pm. See the Canberra Miniature Railway Facebook for more details, as well as photos of their progress. Entry to the property is from Jerrabomberra Avenue.

At their previous Kingston location, they held children's birthday parties and were a popular activity with younger children, especially for Thomas The Tank Engine fans! Keep an eye on their Facebook for future events, more of the track opening and new additions.
