A celebration of all genres of music around the city
The Canberra International Music Festival is a collection of performances held around Canberra in genres such as chamber, classical, jazz, contemporary and world music. As well as traditional concerts there will be outdoor performances in their "Sounds on Sight" series.
For kids there is the Ear of the Cat concert - a concert about "cats, magical keys, video games, and a green soup eaten by ancient kings".
Headline artists include Katie Noonan (Australia) and the Brodsky Quartet (UK), Marco Beasley (Italy), Jose Maria Gallardo Del Rey (Spain), Tambuco percussion (Mexico), Forma Antiqva (Spain) and many more.
