New to Canberra, I love exploring this city and the secrets that it holds with my family.
Free entry for locals, to raise money for two charities
Are you a local of Canberra? Has it been a while since you have visited Cockington Green Gardens? Then visit this popular tourist attraction on Canberra Day (Monday, 12th March) and just pay a gold coin donation to enter as a fundraiser for local charities. All funds raised, including takings from the Steam Train Ride, will be given to Pegasus riding school and Rise Above. Both organisations will on the ground on the day, helping make Canberra Day even more special. See the Cockington Green Gardens Facebook for details. Opening times will be 9:30am - last entry 4:15pm.
The price of Cockington Green Gardens is usually $19.50 adults and $11.50 children. Take advantage of this generous Locals Day, which only happens a few times a year!
