New to Canberra, I love exploring this city and the secrets that it holds with my family.

A heritage boat parade on Lake Burley Griffin
If you love heritage boats, head on down to Lake Burley Griffin over the Anzac Day long weekend to watch them in action. Organised by The Traditional Boat Squadron of Australia, the boats will cruise from Lotus Bay in Yarralumla to the centre of the Lake between 10am - 12 noon on Saturday.

If you would like to view them up close and meet the owners, the boats will be returning to Lotus Bay for public viewing afterwards. On Sunday there will be a Grand Parade around the centre of the Lake at 10am for everyone to view and admire this interesting collection of historical boats all in the one location.
See their website for detailed program.
