Celebrate Summer by enjoying a 'coldie" or few at the Beer Day Out, 2015. This will be a popular event this November, gaining a huge following for the 3rd year in a row.
Held at the Old Bus Depot in Kingston, there will be at least 30 Australian and international craft breweries, with more international beers and more cider than last year. There will be tastings, beer quizzes, prizes, draws and even beer flavoured ice cream from local ice cream maker "Fruggi"!
This event is held on a Friday evening (4pm - 9pm) so people can go straight from work and enjoy a Friday evening with friends, beers and dinner. Then the next day on Saturday, Beer Day Out is open 12pm - 6pm for afternoon tastings and lunch.
This event will run on a ticket purchase plus voucher system. If you buy your tickets online before the event you receive a substantial discount, as well as information about the "early bird entry time".
You then purchase vouchers, valued at $1 each, to pay for your food and drink on the day. There will be designated stands inside the event with vouchers sold in $20 bundles.
Drink prices will vary inside the event, with 100ml tasters from 2-3 vouchers and 285ml middy/pot serves from 5-7 vouchers.
There will also be "Mates Rates" for 5 or more people and multi-day purchases.
Beer Day Out 2015 is an over 18's event and no minors will be permitted entry. If you look young for your age, take your ID to ensure entry.
