When looking for a weekend getaway, camping is usually a great option for the whole family but it can sometimes be hard to find the right spot for your camping trip, that will include everything you are hoping for on your holiday, whether it's the rustic outback you're after, or a relaxing beachside escape there are many different locations in NSW alone, let alone the rest of Australia. With an amazing 34 National Parks in the area, there are endless walking trails to explore and amazingly well preserved beach sites throughout the area. Make sure you bring along a map, as although these trails can attracted quite a few keen explorers, once you venture into the bush you are most likely not going to see another soul until you get back. One of the best parks to visit that has an amazing abundance of wildlife and extensive walking trails is the Booderee National Park in Jervis Bay, right down the road from the pristine Hyams Beach.

With all the natural beauty around you and the quite nature of the place, Jervis Bay is a great spot on the South Coast to head off on a camping trip, whether it's just you or the whole family.
