Have a heap of fruit and veg you're about to waste? Stop
They say it's the simple things in life that matter and that have the ability to instantly put a smile on your face. In this case, it's the Campbelltown Community Produce Swap. Living in Magill I stumbled upon this community event and thought that it was worthy of a share, as it's a lovely idea. It's also a great way to promote the Campbelltown and Magill community by meeting new people, sharing ideas, recipes and just having a genuinely great time in a relaxed and positive environment. The notion behind this is fantastic and rather sweet. It's a chance to exchange, trade and showcase your grown produce by reducing waste through this act of swapping items.

This event and all the products are free! Basically, it is an opportunity to share your passion for fruits, vegetables, or gardening. It encourages people to bring excess fruits, vegetables, herbs, nuts, flowers and seeds to share with the community. No cash is needed! I think it's great that people are also finding unique ways to use food that may have been wasted. Instead of throwing out what you think you don't need, why not give them to someone else. They do say 'One man's trash is another man's treasure!'.
