The name says it all, doesn't it? The Sunshine Coast's most talented musicians will converge on
Crystal Waters Eco Village at Conondale on the weekend of October 13 and 14 for the . The two day celebration of music, song, dance food and camping has always been a bit hit in the past and this year will be no different.
Organisers have outdone themselves in attracting some big local names to this one. Keep an eye out for
Oka ,
Deya Dova ,
The Floating Bridges ,
Ziggy Alberts and more. The host of the event is Jay Bishoff, who has made a name for himself by building the successful Peregian Originals event which runs a couple of times a month at Peregian Beach.
If getting out there is a problem, give
Hintercoast Transport a call on 1300 658 971. They have offered to support the event by bringing out festival goers from the Sunshine Coast area with a coach service also catering for camping gear with an added trailer. They will leave from Coolum Beach, Peregian Beach, Noosa, Eumundi and Kenilworth direct to Crystal Waters and return Saturday and Sunday.
Food wise there should be a world of choice to please your palate. Organisers have promised food stalls with curry, woodfired pizza, sourdough bread, kebabs, as well as chai tea, juice bars, coffee and much more. Those planning on bringing the kids will also find a popular childrens' playground area.
The camping experience is sure to be a highlight. Crystal Waters Eco Village is set in 650 acres of bushland at the headwaters of the Mary River. Don't be surprised to see a kangaroo or two jumping around out here. The grounds have a camping area which overlooks the area arena. Bales of hay will be scattered for comfort.
The Camp Groove Music Festival has been a big hit in the past and that's not about to change. Come enjoy the beauty of Mother Nature while supporting good, hard working local acts.
