I am always looking out for new experiences, wherever I may find myself.
Enjoy three very different days out in Camden
On the last weekend of November, over the course of three days, Camden will be holding a brand new festival, The Camden Jacaranda Festival. Events will be held within the Argyle Precinct, with the iconic jacarandas in full bloom, and each day offers something different.
Day 1: Live and Local Camden
On the first day of the festival, Friday November 23, head to Argyle Street for some free live music, featuring the best local talent across multiple venues. This event comes after an earlier Live and Local event in June. For a list of artists and where and when you can find them, click here.
Day 2: The Jacaranda Experience The main day of the festival, Saturday November 24, is set to be a great day out for families, as Argyle Street is filled with Christmas activities from 3pm to 9.30pm. You can do your Christmas shopping at the markets, and take your kids to see Santa or the fireworks. There will also be performances by local schools, professionals and street performers.
On the third day of the festival, Sunday November 25, you'll find the ARD Motocross Demonstration Team at Larkin Place between 12pm and 5pm. Shows will take place at 1pm, 3pm, 4pm and 5pm, featuring some of Australia's best FMX athletes performing death-defying stunts. There will also be exhibits from both Sadek Motor Group and Sy's Harley-Davidson motorcycles.
Road closures will be in place on both Saturday and Sunday. For more information on these and other festival details, visit the Camden Jacaranda Festival website.
