Camberwell Sunday Market has always stood out from the crowd. They don't kowtow to conventional times more convenient to market-goers; instead, they command a following of faithful customers who live by the adage of early birds catching the worm - just by being awesome.
This is where sustainable shopping starts and ends with a plethora of goodies saved from landfill by its ability to be renewed, repurposed or recycled. All you need to bring is lots of imagination and inspiration to visualise how you can make the magic of transformation happen. Head to the last Market for 2019 on Sunday 29 December 2019 from 6.30am to 12.30pm at Market St, Camberwell. Entry is by gold coin donation.
Thousands flock to the Market for its unique offerings. The gold coin donation goes directly to Rotary who have supported hundreds of charities, projects and worthy causes. Rotary also gets the stallholder fees, which makes it a triple win for the community. Kudos to the Rotary Volunteers who give up their Sunday mornings week in week out to raise funds for the benefit of others.
Take note that the Market will be CLOSED on Sunday 15 Dec and Sunday 22 Dec 2019. After this last Market, it'll REOPEN on Sunday 5 Jan 2020. If you'd love to be a part of this vibrant Market, contact the organisers to be a part of this band of stallholders.
