Ringing in the New Year with a beachside celebration to say hello to 2025 at Kings Beach, Caloundra on Queensland's Sunshine Coast on 31 December 2024.



The Sunshine Coast beachside suburb of Caloundra welcomes the community to enjoy an evening of New Year's activities under the stars to end the calendar year of 2024.

After you have explored the rock pools, scrambled through the time delay fountain, dived in the free saltwater pool, and hit the waves, create some New Year's Eve memories at a free, family-friendly festive event at Kings Beach at the southern end of the Sunshine Coast. Head to the Kings Beach Park and [LINK https://www.sunshinecoast.qld.gov.au/kings-beach-park-and-amphitheatre Amphitheatre) at 4 pm to kickstart the evening's entertainment.



King Beach Park encompasses the grassed amphitheatre area and stage. A fully fenced playground and public amenities are located at the rear (ocean side) of the stage building.

Dinner is sorted as you can catch a bite to eat at one of the food trucks, enjoy kids' rides, and face painting with a move under the starts taking over the big screen at 7:45 pm.



Then it's time for the main event - an incredible fireworks display will light up the skies with a bank with a stunning display of colour at 9:30 pm.

Kings Beach is one of 5 beaches in Caloundra. The Kings Beach Park Amphitheatre is located at the Esplanade Headland with free street parking available.
