Prepare your eardrums for Calounda Music Festival
Kings Beach is ready to turn the music right up to 11. The Caloundra Music Festival is back for another round this year with another blockbuster line up. Book the final week of the Spring school holidays, October 4-7, into your diary right now, because there's going to be four days of sun, surf and best of all, music, right on the beautiful Kings Beach.

Line up is massive this year (as it always is). Prepare your ears for Boy and Bear, Xavier Rudd, Eskimo Joe, The Basics, Jebediah, Blue King Brown, Katchafire, Melbourne Ska Orchestra, Busby Marou, Mama Kin, Alex Lloyd and more. International acts including Toni Childs (US), The Holmes Brothers (US), Dumpstaphunk (US), and The Baseballs (GER). Check out all the acts and this YouTube video:

It's not just all music though - there's plenty of other things going on. The event starts off with fireworks on the launch night, from there you can check out some local art, roving performers, beach-side carnivals, buskers, free children's entertainment and more. There's also a VIP experience at the Kings Club Piano Bar if you're lucky.

Festival camping is also back so you're never too far from the thick of things. The campgrounds will be located at Caloundra Primary School, so funds raised will go towards the P&C for improvements in the school. There will be free shuttle buses running all days, plus you'll be able to walk to the local shops for a feed.

The fun doesn't just start on October 4 though - if you can spare a few more days you can check out the Caloundra Fringe Festival running September 27-October 7.
