Impromptu adventuring, exploring our backyard and then putting pen to paper, hoping to entice you to try one, if not all, of our escapades, is my true reward!
Sun, surf and soul for the family
13th Annual family-friendly Caloundra Music Festival
I cannot think of a better way to celebrate the Sunshine Coast's 'beautiful one day, perfect the next' culture, than celebrating four fabulous days of sun, surf and soul at the 13th annual family-friendly, Caloundra Music Festival.
Held over the October long weekend, Kings Beach will explode with an astounding line-up of musical talent - featuring the best that the Australian music industry has to offer, as well as superb international artists, and it's all happening at the Caloundra Music Festival.
The not-for-profit Caloundra Music Festival's intentions are to bring a diversified audience of locals and visitors together to enjoy world-class music, food, arts and local culture, whilst showcasing the natural beauty, creative talents and uniqueness of the Sunshine Coast. This extremely popular community event celebrates the environment, cultural achievements and community pride of the Caloundra area.
More than 78 artists and bands will be strutting their 'stuff'
Festival-goers who are looking for a more distinguished festival experience can enjoy all the music of the Caloundra Music Festival from the comfort of the Kings Club. Kings Club tickets are only available to purchase as an adult ticket. Children and teenagers will be permitted in licensed areas until 6pm, in the company of a responsible adult.
Guests to the Kings Club can enjoy the entertainment in the Kings Club Piano bar, located at the rear of the main amphitheatre. Kings Club guests can get up close and personal to the Soul stage at the Kings Club Artist Bar and share a drink with the artists. For surf and sand stage fans, the elevated Kings Club Surf Lounge will be offering a relaxed laid-back vibe.

Well, it's not actually 'ginger' soccer, or soccer for 'gingers', but actually fun soccer being delivered by Ginger Sport. Phew, that could have been confusing. Ginger Sport Fun Soccer will be coming to the festival and providing exciting themed soccer activities for boys and girls. Come along and join in - it's promising to be a heap load of fun!

The main focus of Kids' Yoga is the nurturing of strong and healthy bodies and calm and contented minds. Kids' Yoga classes are not just about quieting the monkey mind but to teach them mindfulness techniques to help manage emotions, centre the mind and connect to their imagination. Sounds like something adults would love too!
