How exciting is this! This coming Sunday, 22 October, the inaugural Caloundra Mountain Bike Expo is being held at the Lighthouse Rugby Club in Caloundra. Hosted by
CORCA (Caloundra Off Road Cycling Association) and supported by the Sunshine Coast Council, this is a celebration of fifty years of cycling on the Sunshine Coast.
The Caloundra Mountain Bike Expo is a golden opportunity to showcase mountain biking to the local community with beginner mountain bikers able to utilise free bike hire; plus the added bonus of free professional skills' instruction, as well as guided tours around the local trails.
There will be displays, competitions, lucky door prizes, an exhibition of retro and vintage bikes, workshops for bike repair and maintenance; fitness for mountain biking by guest presenters; a buy/sell/swap section, as well as awesome food and coffee.

A number of additional events and demonstrations will also be taking place during the expo:
CORCA hosted mountain bike rides through local trails (for all levels of mountain biker);
Free instruction and bike hire for beginners;
Janine Jungfels, the 2015 World Women's Trail Champion will be at the Expo, doing trial displays;
Retro and vintage bike displays;
Advanced skills instruction for ladies;
Unicycle demonstrations and rides by
Sunshine Unicycles
