What could be better than an afternoon at the beach, strolling through markets, listening to the sounds of the Caribbean and free entertainment for the kids?

Seasons Aged Care in Caloundra have put together an afternoon to keep everyone entertained at Golden Beach on Saturday 20th January from 3pm - 6pm. The afternoon is being organised as a way for Seasons residents to mix with younger people and give them an opportunity to get out into the community. Many of the members have been busy making jams and handicrafts, as well as baking goodies, to sell on the day. It's a day for all to look forward to, the young and young at heart alike.



Why not bring the whole family and wander through the market stalls including those set up by the residents as well as external market stall providers. As you stroll through, make sure to munch on some of the yummy treats which will be available for purchase. There will be a variety of food trucks in attendance to sell their wares as well as a good old fashioned sausage sizzle.



Of course there will be ways to ensure that the kids are entertained with free face painting and a petting zoo on offer, not to mention ice-cream. Oh, and don't forget to get yourself a ticket in the monster raffle so that you can be in the running to win one of the many fantastic prizes on offer.



As you take your time browsing the stalls, you will be transported to the islands of the Caribbean with live steel Band music from Pantastic Steel Band.The fantastic rhythms and melodies of Pantastic are sure to put a bounce in your step and give you a smile from ear to ear as they bring the sounds of the Caribbean to the beaches of Caloundra.



You will find the Caloundra Beach Party at 30 Baldwin St, Golden Beach. Entry is free, so put on your best Hawaiian shirt, throw on some thongs and head to Golden Beach between three and six for an afternoon that's sure to have you dancing in the street.
