Breathtaking Callala Beach is located to the north of Huskisson in Jervis Bay, which is approximately 3.5 hours south of Sydney.

The beach is approximately 5 kilometres long. At the northern end are rock platforms and the southern side ends only a few metres from Huskisson at Currambene Creek, although to drive to Huskisson, one must drive 40 minutes via the Princess Highway. Talk about being so close yet so far away.

This wide and long beach is perfect for any holiday activity swimming, snorkling, scuba diving and the recently upgraded boat ramp gives easy access to Jervis Bay for those wishing to enjoy sailing, fishing or boating. As there are no waves, the beach is suitable for families with young children.

Amenities are located at the northern end of the beach and between 4pm 8pm during daylight hours dogs are allowed off their leash.

Bottlenose dolphins can often be seen from the beach and if you are lucky whales can also be spotted during winter months.

Jervis Bay offers accommodation to suit all budgets and lifestyles from B&Bs, motels, units, cabins through to hotels, resorts and waterfront houses. So if you are looking for somewhere to go this weekend, head down south and be spoilt by spectacular scenery, stunning beaches and laid back lifestyle.
