Breathtaking Callala Beach is located to the north of Huskisson in Jervis Bay, which is approximately 3.5 hours south of Sydney.
The beach is approximately 5 kilometres long. At the northern end are rock platforms and the southern side ends only a few metres from Huskisson at Currambene Creek, although to drive to Huskisson, one must drive 40 minutes via the Princess Highway. Talk about being so close yet so far away.
This wide and long beach is perfect for any holiday activity – swimming, snorkling, scuba diving and the recently upgraded boat ramp gives easy access to Jervis Bay for those wishing to enjoy sailing, fishing or boating. As there are no waves, the beach is suitable for families with young children.
Jervis Bay offers accommodation to suit all budgets and lifestyles – from B&Bs, motels, units, cabins through to hotels, resorts and waterfront houses. So if you are looking for somewhere to go this weekend, head down south and be spoilt by spectacular scenery, stunning beaches and laid back lifestyle.
